Today started out great. Richard had the day off so he and Josh took a shower this morning. Even though Josh only had bacon for breakfast, I felt the morning went well. When Josh came home at 3PM, he started playing the Wii like he always does. He was playing Olympic Mario and skiing down a hill. He had to go through 36 ribbons to finish in first place. There were several that he kept missing and he threw a major tantrum. It took about 45 minutes to calm him down. He was crying, and would not let us help him. When we tried, he got even more upset and layed down on the floor and kicked. Richard picked him up and took him to his room. He layed him down on the bed so he would not hurt his head. Richard finally got him to calm down with breathing exercises. He almost had another meltdown, but it was quickly averted.

As I was putting Josh to bed tonight, he asked me "Mommy, is a bat an animal or an object?" He is just too smart.

100th Day of School

Today was the 100th Day of school. They made hats, made 83 pieces of popcorn out of 100 cernals and did 100 exercises.

Josh came down with his V-Motion and said, and I quote, "there is something wrong with me or my video game."

Things kids say

After dinner while watching the news, I was having Josh count 100 tickets for school. He kept asking for dessert after I told him no because I felt he had not eaten enough at dinner. After a while, He asked again. I looked at Richard and asked him if he could and said it was up to Daddy. Josh then replied, "Well? Yes or No" while looking back and forth at both of us.

Josh and I are watching Puppy Bowl VII. He first asked if dogs play football and then if cats play football.

It is now half time and the cats are getting ready to take the field. I called for our cat Beaner to come and watch, of course she did not respond. Josh was trying to get her to come too.

Oh Man

As Josh was watching his daddy play BeJewled on his computer he screams OH Man you missed, when Richard missed a move and Josh spotted it. OH Mann.

The Cat in The Hat

As the three of us are watching the TV show The Cat in The Hat, I asked Josh "Do you know what this is?" Richard replied "Martin Short". I then asked Josh again "Do YOU know what this is?" He replied "Martin Short" with a smile. He knew it was the Cat in The Hat.
